What is Parent Circle?

Are you wondering what Parent Circle is?  Parent Circle plays a vital role in planning annual events that benefit the school with the cooperation of the faculty and staff.  Parent Circle is open to all parents, grandparents, and guardians of our students.  Meetings are held monthly to plan events, and to get to know new members of our community.  Everyone is welcome!

Events such as the COS Pancake Breakfast and COS Spaghetti Dinner are community gatherings, while other events allow us to celebrate seasonal festivals that are a reflection of our unique Waldorf school.  Celebrations of seasonal festivals help remind us of the “circle of seasons” throughout the year and also foster a sense of community.  Here are some examples of seasonal events sponsored by Parent Circle:

Winter Faire at COS

Stop in for story-time with King Winter or warm up with a cup of our COS community-sponsored Stone Soup. Check out the Waldorf-inspired crafts, musical and dramatic performances by COS students and staff and a delicious assortment of baked goods donated by COS families.

May Faire at COS

Enjoy the May Pole performance, crafts, bake sale, basket raffle, COS Store featuring COS merchandise and gear, various vendor stands and businesses, and food trucks.

Ready to get involved?  Parent Circle meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm.  You can also contact parentcircle@circleofseasons.org with any questions.
